Welcome Aboard! Starting at 5am a complete day of adventure begins. Only by hearing the words Witch’s Rock and Ollie’s Point 90% of our customers feel a strange excitement and a sizzle in their stomachs that only those who have gone before know the day that awaits them. From very early Captain Boos picks each customer up at their hotel with a minivan equipped with all the commodities. Leaving Tamarindo after a 20 minute drive, arriving at the Flamingo marina, together with the first rays of sun, we start our journey, searching for the perfect wave. Heading north and depending on the tide with an estimated time of 1 hour and 20 minutes toward Witch’s Rock and/or 1 hour and 45 minutes to Ollie’s Point, the only thing this trip has for sure are the offshore winds that these magical places offer its surfers and it’s 300 days of the year giving each customer an incredible surf experience!!
OLLIE’S POINT is a point break, which is characterized for being perfect when it’s big or small. Depending on the time of year
when you visit this place, you can find this point break forming tubular waves or simply standing in perfection down to the shore. Ollie’s works better with south swells and low tide, and when the tide starts rising, there is only a gap of a few hours to enjoy its magical wave, because with high tide these amazing waves disappear.
WITCH’S ROCK simply magical. This powerful beach break with perfect never-ending barrels, during it’s epic swells, reach up to the shore, and give you this amazing feeling of thanking life for giving you this opportunity to be there. This spot with its perfect waves tends to form with mid-tide rising, and when the tide starts to lower, is when the barrels appear.
